Phase 1: Increase Registration
Phase 2: Educate on Ways to Vote
Phase 3: GO VOTE!
Every election cycle, the Maryland State Board of Elections tries to boost registration, foster education, and encourage MD residents to get out and vote. In an effort to try something new, they reached out to our agency.
We dreamed up a multi-phase campaign that directed users to a one-stop resource for all things voting, from registration to the ballot box.
I can't believe I'm reducing months of writing to three short paragraphs, but the work speaks for itself. Check out some of the embedded videos and log some impressions at vote.md.gov/Vote2024.
I had blast directing almost 20 different Marylanders over a two-day shoot. We captured content that will educate voters on the many ways they can participate in the election process.
We ran ads… everywhere. Display, IG, Snapchat, print, broadcast, radio, CTV/OTT, and Spotify.
If you consumed media (or drove around Baltimore) during our ad run, you got our message.
REACTION & IMPACT
The Center for Civic Design called our site a “fresh, exciting way to share election information.”
